After 18 years at the helm of the flagship of Montreux's tourism, events and cultural economy, Rémy Crégut, Managing Director of CCM SA, is preparing to hand over the reins. He will be handing over to a new management team on 31 May 2024, while continuing to put his skills, experience and network at the service of our destination as part of a special mandate within Montreux-Vevey Tourisme.
The aim of this smooth transition, which has been planned for a long time, is to put the future management team in an ideal position to take a long-term view and develop its strategy calmly, while preparing for the restart of 2m2c activities after the work underway.
The Board of Directors of CCM SA would like to extend its warmest thanks to Mr Crégut for his unconditional commitment to the Montreux Riviera destination and the Convention Centre over so many years. He has truly personified the 2m2c and become its tireless ambassador, helping to position Montreux as an international benchmark for hosting events.
His involvement in planning the renovation of the Centre for over 10 years also warrants our most sincere gratitude. A true linchpin, as passionate as he is professional, he has shown unfailing determination to see this project through to fruition, including accompanying his team through to the closure of the 2m2c and its move to temporary premises in August 2023.
Finally, the Board of Directors is particularly pleased that Mr Crégut's expertise will continue to be put to good use in the service of the destination and Montreux, after the end of his term of office with CCM SA, in the context of new projects with the tourist office.
The recruitment process for the new management team will begin in the next few days.
