François Cardinaux recalls with a smile a memorable moment at the 2m2c when he had to use his voice to compensate for a general breakdown

Precursor at its opening in 1973, the 2m2c has continuously expanded over the years to support the development of business tourism, events, and culture on the Riviera. The biggest names have graced the stages of the Miles Davis Hall and the Auditorium Stravinski, and several generations of Montreusians, Vaud residents, Swiss citizens, and visitors have experienced unforgettable moments of emotion there.
The 2m2c is now at a turning point in its history because, after 50 years of dedicated service, this facility of general interest will undergo a profound transformation. It will close its doors on July 31, 2023, to initiate the works of the Avenir 2m2c project.
In order to better understand its upcoming Renaissance, it seemed interesting to us to recount its history but also all the memories, anecdotes, and moments of emotion that millions of people have lived within its walls.
